Which Class is for you?
Emerging Emeralds (Absolute
Beginners)
This class is designed for Women who are
new to Belly Dance. It is recommended that you complete 2
terms to receive the full benefit from the class. You will be taught
a choreography suitable for Beginners, including basic belly dance moves.
You will also get to experience using props for the first time, including
Veils and Saidi Sticks. New students will only be taken in Term 1
and Term 3 for this class.
Shimmering Sapphires &
Alluring Ambers (Beyond Beginners / Intermediate)
Once you've completed the Absolute
Beginners class you will then be ready to move into the next class, which
is the Beyond Beginners / Intermediate class. In this class your
knowledge of the basic belly dance moves will be expanded upon
incorporating them into choreography's.
Diamond Diva's (Advanced)
This class is by invitation only.
Advanced techniques and choreography's are fine tuned in this class.
You also will be required to attend workshops to help further your
knowledge of styles and technique.
Teenie Genie's
Teenie Genie's is for our youngest
Belly Dancers. This gives them an opportunity to learn belly dancing
while having some fun, meeting some new friends and getting some exercise.
Teenie Genie's also have the opportunity to use props like Veils and
Poi's. Teenie Genie's classes are split into 2 levels, these levels
are based on individual ability.
Level One is for little dancers who are just
starting out with belly dancing. In this class they start to learn
some of the basic belly dance moves and learn a cute and fun choreography.
This class uses both modern music and belly dance music.
Level Two is for little dancers who have
gained some experience in belly dancing and are ready to move onto the
next level and learn some more belly dance moves. They will still get to
learn cool choreography's using both modern music and bell dance music.
Zemira will inform the parent or guardian of the child when they are ready
to move up to Level Two.
