Which Class is for you?

Emerging Emeralds (Beginners)

This class is designed for Women who are new to Belly Dance.  You don't need to have any prior dance experience.  It is recommended that you complete minmum2 terms to receive the full benefit from the class.  You will be taught choreography suitable for Beginners, including basic belly dance moves.  You will also get to experience using props for the first time, including Veils and Saidii Sticks.  (Min of 4 students is required for this class, otherwise the class may be cancelled)

Shimmering Sapphires (Intermediate)

Once you've completed the Beginners class you will then be ready to move into the next class, which is the Intermediate class.  In this class your knowledge of the basic belly dance moves will be expanded upon incorporating them into choreography's.  You will also start learning some of the many different styles within Belly Dance.

(Mixed Level Class)

This class is suitable for students who have no prior belly dance experience and those with belly dance experience.  In this class you will learn to master belly dance techniques and expand your knowledge through learning choreography’s.

Diamond Diva's (Advanced)

This class is by invitation only.  Advanced techniques and choreography's are fine tuned in this class.  You also will be required to attend workshops to help further your knowledge of styles and technique.

Gypsy Gems (Tribal Belly Dance)

This class explores Tribal Style Belly Dance that originated from American Tribal Style (ATS) in the 1980’s.  There have been many styles that have branched out from the original ATS and in this class you will learn ATS moves as created and taught by Fat Chance Belly Dance and also explore Tribal Fusion styles.

Amethyst Angels (Children's Classes)

Children's Classes are for our youngest Belly Dancers.  This gives them an opportunity to learn belly dancing while having some fun, meeting some new friends and getting some exercise.  Children also have the opportunity to use props like Veils, Stick and Poi's.
