Rose

Rose is one of Australia’s most sought after performers and instructors. Rose has been described as being passionate and mesmerizing, her artistic interpretation, musicality skills and innovative style have won her praise from visiting dance stars, colleagues, and leading exponents of other dance genres.

 Rose was one of the 3 short listed for the 'Outstanding achievement in teaching' award with Ausdance amongst ballet and contemporary dance teachers - a first for bellydance in Australia. Rose is also just fresh back from dancing with Jillina (Creator of Bellydance Superstars) and her cast in Bellydance Evolution concert after being the only Australian chosen by Jillina in an online audition.

Rockin’ Rhythms

Understanding the rhythms are an essential element to successful belly dancing and one of the keys to unlock the secret to improvisation. Enhance your dancing; learn to identify the essential rhythms in Arabic dance and not only learn the appropriate movements for each, but new and dynamic alternatives to interpret these rhythms and give your dancing that exciting edge and flair whether classical, modern or drums!

  Session 2: 1.00pm – 3.30pm

Dynamic Dabke!

The traditional dabke is an energetic and exuberant group dance done by both men and women. Characterized by stomping to powerful rhythm, it is performed together at almost every Lebanese function or celebration. Learn traditional steps performed to one Lebanon’s most popular hit songs – El Tannoura, fun and lively and perfect for troupes.

Wear shoes – jazz shoes or jazz sneakers

 Ya Leily Ya Ein

A beautiful veil dance performed to a modern remix of the classic Enta Omri. Lovely and expressive taqsim embellished with the powerful and dynamic veil throughout.

 Hot Hips and Spicy Turns

No it’s not the latest combo meal at KFC!  But some hot combos that can be used to spice up your entrance and sizzle your dancing!  Learn basic and safe turning and spinning techniques, juicy hip circles and undulations, stunning arms and dynamic transitions that will give your performance that exciting edge and appeal!
